Manchester Future Everything 2012: the lost tweets
Future Everything is a digital festival featuring art, music and a two-day conference in Manchester. I was fortunate enough to attend the conference with funding from MIRIAD. However I’d left my phone on a train a couple of days before (noooo), so no spur-of-the-moment tweets from me. Here, in all of their cryptic glory, are some tweets I would have sent:
@RohanGunatillake ‘Buddhism explores inner technologies’. Need conversation with wisdom and tech, yes. Possible to hack the mind? Not sure.
@moritzstefaner says data visualisation not about making something simple, about giving us access to complexity of world: notabilia.net.
How to use ‘generative algorithms’ to conduct public music performance? Ask Super Critical Mass http://supercriticalmass.com/
Cesar Hidalgo: GDP only tells us what a country did. National product diversity tells us what it will do – http://bit.ly/JyXJR8
Is ACE/BBC’s #thespace really the ‘most innovative change since the creation of the Arts Council?’ Time will tell…
ACE: #thespace is ‘not about the arts council becoming a broadcaster’
Artists Kasia Molga and @BrendanOliver use algorithm to find poetic tweets. This probably doesn’t qualify… http://bit.ly/JtmLaI
